Expect the Unexpected

What we worry about doesn’t happen. The unexpected happens. An example is: I wasn’t worried about my dad having a stroke and it happened.  Most of the time I wish circumstances were different and I could go back in time and change the outcome, but I cannot. I can only focus on reality and make the best out of situations.  Making the best out of situations isn’t always easy, but it is doable.

How I try to make the best of the situation: Even though some days can be really tough, I think at least my dad is still with me. I also go to the gym and workout and do artwork. I find that exercising and doing art does wonders for my mental health as it helps to relax me. I try to focus on anything that makes me happy especially spending time with my dog.
